IssAndes has done a lot since the conception of the cause to get the information out there about potatoes.




  1.  Characterized 200 varietals of native potatoes that are identified with high contents of zinc and iron that have been passed out locally.
  2. Native potatoes that are high in zinc and iron are being used by 300 children and their mothers.
  3. High yield native potatoes have been released with good culinary quality and resistance to blight.
  4. 300 producers have diversified production and consumption with various other agricultural products.
  5. Knowledge of nutrition and health are being spread within the community.
  6. Investment by the public has been promoted at the local and national level.
  7. Articulating the boom of Peruvian Cuisine with messages and experience that contribute to improvements in nutrition.
